  Quality

One of our main aims is to present benefits and significance of international standard implementation in berry production and logistics, especially in view of GLOBALGAP and ORGANIC standards and their environmental and economic aspects.

Our growers implement GlobalGap standards in berry production and their number is on the rise through promotional activities, training and monitoring.

PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES

During the project implementation period, project managers and assistants, in cooperation with national and regional TV & Radio stations, inform the general public of the purpose and goals of GLOBALGAP standards.

TRAINING

  • TRAINING OF GROWERS
Basic workshops are held in groups of 30 participants.
  • TESTING AND AWARDING The Workshop will be accomplished by candidate testing by a third party audit organizations like TÜV and BCS and the most successful growers will be given an opportunity to visit foreign plantations and growers.

MONITORING

After the realization of the first year, program managers organize regular visits to selected farms and households in view of supervising the improvement of berry fruit production. Final reports include information regarding project setup activities, training activities and initial activities with selected growers who will be awarded financial premiums.
